Big Sky Drafting Studio is a one-person business, which means every project is handled directly by me: from first conversation to final drawings.

 

My background in drafting technology and years spent around residential construction have shaped how I approach design. I’m less interested in creating drawings that look good on paper, and more focused on plans that make sense in real life; for builders, homeowners, and the way spaces are actually used.

 

I’m especially drawn to floor plans that prioritize function, flow, and clarity. I believe good residential design should reduce friction: fewer awkward transitions, fewer unanswered questions during construction, and fewer last-minute decisions on site.

Because I work one-on-one with clients, communication matters. I take time to ask questions early, talk through options, and make sure the drawings reflect not just what a home should look like, but how it should feel to live in.
